Senior Process Engineer
Salary Range

Position Summary
ION is looking for a full-time Senior Process Engineer to support the commercial-scale design and build of carbon capture plants based on the internationally recognized solvent technology. The Senior Process Engineer will contribute to a team of engineers on feasibility, FEED, or detailed design projects for the integration of a carbon capture facility with various point sources of emissions. This position will require a hands-on individual with the capability to produce high-quality process deliverables according to a schedule and within a budget that meets current project/client requirements. They will develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity. Process modeling is a core requirement for the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Thoroughly explore process options and continuously implements procedures that optimize quality, automation, and efficiency.
· Develop PFDs, P&IDs, process simulations, heat and material balances, utilities summaries and associated documents.
· Review engineering documents prepared by other disciplines, sub vendors, and project partners.
· Lead or contribute to various design review meetings, P&ID reviews, PHAs, HAXOPs, 3D model reviews, etc. Including associated travel.
· Support proposals with process engineering representation during meetings and process modeling results.
· Identify performance standards and proactively provide expertise in solving complex technical problems.
· Analyze, interpret and document data through graphs, charts, and reports.
· Present findings through oral and written reports, presentations, white papers, etc.
· Document process methodology, controls, and quality standards.
· Monitor performance and ensure compliance with standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
· Professionally interact with the project team, business partners, vendors and customers to facilitate swift resolution of issues.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
· Solid understanding of methods and techniques used in CO2 capture from flue gas and/or gas sweetening.
· Expertise with process design, process modeling, documentation, and quality tools.
· Excellent ability to quickly assess problems and formulate strategies to overcome issues.
· Expertise in operating/optimizing industrial plants.
· Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
· Proactive nature; stays up to date on advancements in technologies, engineering standards, regulations, etc.
· Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
· Understanding of safety standards and OSHA compliance guidelines.
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
· 5+ years of relevant experience in a process engineering role.
· Proven/demonstrable experience with process modeling tools is required.
· Process controls or instrumentation experience is valued.
· Experience with detailed design or equipment or modular skid installations is valued.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will contribute to a team of engineers on FEED and detailed design projects for the integration of a carbon capture facility on an existing power station or industrial facility.The successful candidate will research, develop, and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial purposes. The lead responsibility is to function as a technical specialist developing and employing advanced mechanical engineering concepts, techniques, and standards. This position will require a hands-on individual. Additionally, this individual produces high-quality procedures and manuals for operating and maintaining the equipment under charge.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
· Perform engineering activities as a discipline lead and with minimal supervision.
· Design mechanical components to fulfill process requirements.
· Plan layout and integration of equipment into facilities and modular assemblies.
· Provide safety-minded leadership throughout all activities.
· Review process design packages and directly develop equipment sizes, equipment lists and PFDs.
· Ensure compliance with relevant design codes such as ASME, API, and CFR.
· Prepare specifications, data sheets, inquiries, and technical bid evaluations, as well as make recommendations for purchase.
· Interface with design partners and review data to ensure equipment performance metrics and project requirements are met.
· Coordinate client requirements and standards.
· Contribute to the development of cost estimates as well as scope change management.
· Participate in project reviews for design milestones, hazards, and constructability.
· Work with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to support fabrication, site construction and commissioning efforts through systems turnover to operations.

· Perform job walks wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in an operating facility.
Qualifications, Education, andExperience:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required (Master’s degree is a plus).
· 7+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with Master’s degree)and a demonstrable background in piping & vessel design / specification is required.
· An ME PE license (any state) or the ability to obtain such within one (1) year is required.
· Experience with mechanical requisitions and equipment sizing, specification, and selection required.
· Familiarity with ASME piping design codes (B31.3, …) and BPVC required.
· Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
· Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
· Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA compliance guidelines.
· Experience using CAD applications to produce PFD’s and P&ID’s.

Position Summary
ION is looking for a full-time, detail-oriented, and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our growing company. This role demands a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Reporting directly to the Controller and based in our Houston, Texas office, the Senior Accountant role will be an integral member of the accounting team, responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company through precise record keeping, preparation of monthly financial statements, development of management reports, cash flow reporting, and strategic analysis. The candidate would most benefit from possessing an entrepreneurial spirit paired with strong accounting expertise; and a sharp analytical mind who can manage our processes and guide our financial strategy. They will need to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and contractual obligations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Maintain financial records, reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare bank reconciliations, and other routine accounting procedures to support the closing of our financial records monthly, quarterly, annually, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports and variance analysis to be utilized to identify trends, from which the Senior Accountant will provide actionable recommendations.
Working Capital Management: Oversee the company’s cash flow, monitoring income and expenditures, and effectively managing cash receipts and disbursements to optimize financial performance, working capital and strategic investments. Manage the processes for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice creation, payment processing, and overdue account management.
Invoicing: Preparing accurate invoices to commercial customers and the Department of Energy (DOE) in a timely manner, tracking payments, and addressing any billing inquiries.
Disbursements: Reviewing the accuracy of invoices and other cash disbursements in comparison to purchase orders and contractual obligations, recording disbursements in the general ledger and maintaining all supporting documentation within the accounting system.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and provide continuous forecasting to support strategic planning. Work closely with key stakeholders to identify income opportunities and cost savings to drive profitability.
Financial Process Enhancement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes, internal controls, and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and drive operational excellence.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and DOE regulations and US GAAP. Coordinate with external auditors during DOE and traditional financial audits and lead the preparation of necessary documentation and schedules. Assist with periodic reporting to taxing and regulatory authorities, including completion of business licenses, and 1099s.
Business Collaboration: Partner with project managers and corporate managers in developing operational metrics that enable informed decision-making.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional duties as needed.
Qualifications,Education, and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent education and experience
· Between2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably comprised of time with a public accounting firm and private industry
· CPA, CMA, or similar designation is preferred
· Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and other relevant accounting principles
· Experience with financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
· Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (DOE grant expertise is a plus) and experience with external audits
· Expertise in Netsuite is a must, expertise in QuickBooks is a plus
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and the broader MS365 collaboration tools (e.g. Loop, Teams, Planner)

Aspart of the Company’s Executive Management Team and reporting directly to the President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, the Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting performs a leadership role in the Company’s financial decision-making. Responsibilities include oversight for the planning, implementation, and managing of the finance, accounting, planning, tax, insurance, and treasury activities of the Company.
Essential Job Functions:
· Leads the Finance & Accounting Organization
· EvaluatesCompany’s financial performance, identifies financial strengths and weaknesses and proposes corrective actions
· Provides strategic management for the accounting, tax compliance, financial planning& reporting, insurance, and treasury functions
