Staff Accountant
Position Summary:
ION is looking for a full-time, detail-oriented, and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our growing company. This role demands a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Reporting directly to the SeniorAccountant, the Staff Accountant will play a vital role in our day-to-day financial operations and will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, processing AP and AR transactions, and performing month-end closing procedures. A successful candidate would benefit from possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and a sharp analytical mind that can manage our processes to ensure ourfinancial data becomes actionable information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the processes for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice creation, payment processing, and overdue account information.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accounting records and files, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the accounts and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and other routine accounting procedures to support the closing of our financial records monthly and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Payroll: Manage and process payroll through our PEO platform, ensuring accurate calculations, timely payments, and alignment with financial records.
- Tax and Regulatory: Assist with periodic reporting to taxing and regulatory authorities, including completion of business licenses, and 1099s.
- Audit Support: Aid in internal and external audits by preparing supporting schedules and implementing audit recommendations.
- Policy Adherence and Process Improvement: Follow departmental processes and ensure ION policies are enforced while suggesting improvements for efficiency.
- Government Contract Management: Manage government contracts and reporting in accordance with FAR guidelines.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional duties as needed.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
· CPA,CMA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
· 0-2 years of experience in accounting; start-up and/or public company experience a plus.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and knowledge of GAAP required.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Oracle NetSuite preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, highly motivated and results oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and managing deadlines and expectations.
· Understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g. DOE programs) and audits.
What We Offer:
· The salary for this position generally ranges between $60,000 to $100,000annually. This range is an estimate based on potential qualifications and operational needs and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
· Additionally, this position will receive a grant of stock options and is eligible for an annual bonus based on the performance of the individual and the company.

Sr. Manager of Information Technology Operations
Job Description Summary:
As our Senior Manager of Information Technology Operations specializing in cloud infrastructure, you will oversee our company-wide technology environment with a specific focus on supporting our operations through cloud-based platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of the systems and applications used by our teams. You will enable greater operational excellence by supporting diverse platforms and enabling our team to scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance across Microsoft 365 & Azure environments, SharePoint, and other cloud services.
- Support ION team members with internal help desk activities across Windows and iOS devices.
- Maintain organization IT assets, including wireless and teleconferencing infrastructure.
- Track and administer software licenses, head counts, and security protocols in company platforms.
- Deploy, support, and train staff on advanced security and encryption systems, with an emphasis on cloud security best practices, including identity and access management and data protection.
- Develop business information and analytics processes, including organization level data structure.
- Work closely with vendors, data centers, and cloud service providers to ensure seamless operations, enhanced security measures, and be a key contributor to strategic purchase decisions.
- Oversee network infrastructure, endpoint security, and Mobile Device Management (MDM), including IT network and data maps for material systems and data stores.
- Monitor system usage for out-of-norm access and behavior, reviewing access levels, unused applications, and audit logs.
- Keep a detailed inventory of cloud resources and employee systems and create and maintain the IT department's annual budget.
- Streamline the onboarding and offboarding processes of personnel, IT hardware and access rights.
- Maintain relationships with IT-related vendors, ensuring ION benefits from the service.
- Act as a cloud security advisor, troubleshooting and advising on issues.
- Develop, implement and maintain documentation for all IT-related policies and processes, ensuring best practices in compliance and security are clearly documented, communicated and adhered to.
- Organization level IT training after rollout of new systems
- Establish organization level SOC 2 compliance including choice of vendors and plan for disaster recovery.
Qualifications,Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with a strong emphasis on cloud computing.

Process Control Engineer
Position Summary
The PCE will contribute to a team of engineers on Feasibility Studies, FEEDs or detailed design projects for the integration of carbon capture facilities at power and industrial sites. This position will require a hands-on individual with capability to produce high-quality process controls engineering deliverables according to a schedule and within budget that meet current project/client requirements. They will develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.
The PCE must have knowledge of industrial, process, manufacturing, field instrumentation, distributed control system technology, PLCs and batch process manufacturing in all the following project phases:
• Scope Generation
• Design Basis
• Requirements Documentation
• Implementation
• Systems Integration
• Testing and On-site Startup
The PCE will also be expected to:
• Draw out and document customer requirements that form the basis of the controls scope of work.
• Design, develop and implement control systems (logic software and controls hardware) to meet machine and integrated system requirements.
• Assist in the development of design standards.
• Write instrument/valve specs when required.
• Be involved with vendor recommendations and selection.
• Define commercial components needed to meet project needs, including acquiring quotes and lead times from suppliers for critical items.
• Provide support during design, build and testing phase of the project.
• Participate and contribute to technical issues related to EIC for ION’s pilot facilities and pilot operations.
• Conduct due diligence of detailed EIC designs to ensure alignment with ION’s operational theories and operational philosophies.
• Provide clear communication with the supervisor and the project manager regarding schedule and scope implications throughout the projectlifecycle.
• Assist in the Factory and Site Acceptance Testing of control software, as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience is desirable.
• A solid understanding of process controls system design including electrical schematic generation, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, cause & effect tables, logic diagrams and general instrument & electrical assembly processes.
• Experience in generating control strategies and guiding the release of a control system from development through deployment.
• Working knowledge of CAD software. Ability to create controls/electrical designs and drawings using computer-assisted design, make revisions to designs, and update old drawings to new formats.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)required.

Work Environment
This position typically operates in a professional office environment but occasionally in industrial settings (refineries, fabrication shops and/or power stations). The job requires an individual to routinely use standard office equipment to oversee technical deliverables, and at times it is required to work remotely, from the office and on-site of a client. Travel to locations of ION’s pilot operations, meetings associated with ION’s commercial projects or to locations involving commissioning, start-up and/or operations associated with ION’s commercial projects may be required and could be as much as 25%.
